Highlight
Nanbin Road is located on the south bank of the Yangtze River, facing the Yuzhong Peninsula. It is one of the best shorelines to see the lights of Hongyadong, Raffles City, Qiansimen, and Dongshimen Bridge. Compared to the crowded Hongya Cave, this place is more relaxed, as locals come here for night runs, strolls, and dates.
How to play
- Walk: The riverside trail runs fromHaitang Yanyu ParktoLongmen Haolao Street, about 3-4 kilometers, flat and easy to walk; Passing through the Bell Tower and Changjiahui Shopping Park in the middle (with a wide view from the top floor observation deck).
- Check in:Longmen Haolao Street(restored Republican architecture+caf é, painted walls) is a classic spot for taking night views of Yuzhong..
- Nightlife: Bars and river view restaurants along the route, suitable for couples or friends to gather together; If you want to take photos, you can bring a tripod for long exposure.
Transportation
Subway Loop Line/Line 6Shangxin Streetor take a bus to Nanbin Road; You can also take a taxi from Monument to the people's Liberation to cross the bridge for about 10 minutes. The best time is after sunset.
Avoiding pitfalls
- The wind is strong by the river, especially in autumn and winter evenings, so bring a jacket.
- The prices of Changjiahui and Longmenhao restaurants and bars are relatively high, so it's not a problem to just enjoy the scenery without spending money.
- I want to shoot the same version of "Spirited Away" in Hongya Cave, and the Grand Theater Jiangtan or Qiansimen Bridge is closer than Nanbin Road for correction.
